Our President, Bernice Parsons was invited to share her experiences as a successful entrepreneur during the recently concluded #galswithLEI forum held at the East-West Center last July 23, 2015.

The #galswithLEI forum celebrates Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Inspiration from female business and social entrepreneurs who have created businesses that generated jobs and strengthened communities. The event offered six interactive workshops to create purposeful, collaborative and dynamic information sharing among the participants.
Bernice was one of the panelists during the first session for the topic #galswithLeadership: Reinventing the Office. She talked about the business model of Vertaccount and how as a micro-global company we are able to overcome the challenges of having offices in 4 different sites across the globe. She shared that the success of Vertaccount is largely dependent on our ability to adapt to the needs of the markets we serve. We are able to accomplish this because of our commitment to continually invest in the growth of our employees.
The event also featured speakers from different countries like Mongolia, Nepal, South Korea and Indonesia.
